About this site
Chun-Chacaab lies along the western shore of Cozumel, an island off the Caribbean coast of Quintana Roo in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Dive sites along this stretch are typically reached by boat from the town of San Miguel de Cozumel, running along the island's protected marine park waters. This reef reaches a maximum depth of around 24 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported sea turtles, snapper, and stingrays here.
