The Cienfuegos Wreck lies off Eleuthera, the long, narrow Bahamian island running between the Great Bahama Bank and the deep Atlantic waters of the Exuma Sound side. It sits in shallow water to a maximum depth of around 10.7 metres, making it a beginner dive typically reached by boat from settlements such as Governor's Harbour, Rock Sound, or Harbour Island. Divers have reported eagle rays, grouper, nurse sharks, and snapper around the wreck.
