Eleuthera is a long, narrow island in the Bahamas, running roughly northwest to southeast between the Great Bahama Bank and the deeper Atlantic waters known locally as the Exuma Sound and the Atlantic side reefs. Dive sites named for wrecks along its coast are typically reached by boat from settlements such as Governor's Harbour, Gregory Town, or Rock Sound.
