About this site
Coleman Shoal lies in the waters near Tiga Island, one of the Loyalty Islands group off New Caledonia in the Melanesian region of the South Pacific, with Tiga sitting between Lifou and Maré. The shoal is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 20 metres, rated advanced. Divers have reported strong current here along with bull sharks, nurse sharks, and tiger sharks, and the current and shark presence are among the site's noted hazards.
