About this site
Cominotto is the small islet just off Comino, sitting between Comino and Malta in the channel that also holds the Blue Lagoon, and it's commonly reached by short boat trips from Malta or Gozo. The reef here tops out at a shallow maximum depth of around 7 metres over a cave bottom, making it a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have reported cuttlefish, lobster, moray eels, nudibranchs, octopus, and scorpionfish around the site, along with boat traffic worth watching for given the busy waters around Comino.
