About this site
Coral Garden is a reef dive site near Sabang Beach, Puerto Galera, in the Philippines. It sits at depths ranging from 5 m to 12 m (16–39 ft), with a maximum depth of 10 m, making it a shallow, accessible reef suited to Open Water-certified and beginner divers.
The terrain is defined by coral heads, plate corals, and staghorn hard corals forming a classic tropical reef structure. Marine life recorded at the site includes nudibranchs, moray eels, lionfish, stonefish, crabs, flatworms, giant grouper, sea snakes, and lato, alongside reef fish moving through the coral formations. Fragile corals are present throughout, so buoyancy control matters.
Current at Coral Garden is mild to variable, and water temperature ranges from 26–29°C. Visibility is generally good. The site is diveable year-round, subject to prevailing conditions.
