About this site

Cuevitas sits off the Quintana Roo coast in Mexico's Riviera Maya, on the Caribbean side of the Yucatan Peninsula. It is a reef dive over a reef bottom, reaching a maximum depth of about 10.3 metres, which makes it a beginner-friendly site. Angelfish, nurse sharks, and sea turtles are regulars here, and divers have also reported butterflyfish, lobster, parrotfish, reef sharks, snapper, stingrays, and even the occasional dugong.
