D'Wall

D'Wall is one of the well-known dive sites at Sipadan Island off the coast of Malaysian Borneo, named for the sheer drop-off that runs along the island's edge. It is known for its wall diving, with divers commonly encountering turtles, reef sharks, and schooling barracuda or jacks along the drop. The verified maximum depth here is 18 metres, rated an intermediate dive with light current, making the shallower sections of the wall accessible while the drop-off itself continues far beyond recreational limits. Divers have also reported bannerfish, frogfish, nudibranchs, and parrotfish along the reef top here. Sipadan's walls are generally reached by boat from nearby Mabul or Kapalai.
