About this site
Danao Wall lies along the coast of Panglao Island, off Bohol in the Visayas region of the Philippines, an area known for its steep drop-offs and reef walls facing the Bohol Sea. Panglao's dive sites are typically reached by short boat rides from resorts around Alona Beach and nearby coastal barangays. The wall here reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive over a wall bottom, with frogfish a reliable find along the drop-off. Divers have also reported angelfish, nudibranchs, octopus, pipefish, sea turtles, seahorses, sweetlips, triggerfish, and even whale sharks passing through.
