About this site
Garden Eels sits off Panglao Island, part of the popular dive cluster near Alona Beach on Bohol's south coast in the Visayas. The site is a sandy slope reaching a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive, typically reached by short boat trips from the resorts along the coast. It takes its name from a colony of garden eels found on the open sand, and divers have also reported frogfish and nudibranchs here.
