About this site
Diadema Reef sits off Kaka Rock in New Zealand's Pacific waters, known for its vibrant marine life and dramatic underwater terrain. Schools of trevally and snapper swirl around towering pinnacles, while crayfish hide in crevices. The reef's steep walls are covered in colorful sponges and sea fans, with occasional eagle rays gliding past. Currents can be strong, making it ideal for drift diving. Visibility often exceeds 20 meters, revealing the site's rich biodiversity. Depths range from 10 to 30 meters, suitable for intermediate divers. The remote location ensures pristine conditions and fewer crowds.
