About this site
Dive Check is a wall site off Alor Island in East Nusa Tenggara, part of the Alor archipelago separated from Flores by the Alor Strait. Unlike many of the strait's current-swept sites, this one is a beginner dive with light current and a maximum depth of around 15 metres. Divers have reported a cave feature along the wall, and sightings here have included sea turtles, snapper, trevally, and wobbegong sharks.
