Kal's Dream

Kal's Dream is a pinnacle dive site off Alor Island in East Nusa Tenggara, in the strait waters near Nuhakepa on the island's coast. This part of Alor is known for its steep volcanic drop-offs and strong tidal currents running through the strait between Alor and neighboring islands, and boats out of Kalabahi typically run the sites along this coast. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an advanced dive, with strong currents around the pinnacle as the main hazard. Barracuda are a regular sight here, and divers have also reported hammerhead sharks, mackerel, trevally, and tuna passing the pinnacle, along with smaller life such as nudibranchs, octopus, and scorpionfish tucked along the structure.
