About this site
This dive site near Achill Island offers clear Atlantic waters with dramatic underwater cliffs and rocky outcrops. Expect strong currents that bring in schools of pollock, wrasse, and occasional basking sharks. The seabed features kelp forests and sandy patches where crabs and lobsters hide. Visibility varies but can be excellent in calm conditions. Suitable for experienced divers due to changing tides and surge. A rugged, wild dive with rich marine life.
