About this site
Dunaff Head sits on the northern coast of County Donegal, on a headland between Lough Swilly and Ballyliffin on the Inishowen Peninsula in Ulster. The site faces out into the Atlantic off the north Donegal coast, an exposed stretch of rocky shoreline typical of this part of Ireland. It is a rock-bottomed dive reaching around 25 metres, rated advanced, with divers having reported strong currents and swell working the headland. Wrasse have also been noted around the site.
