About this site
Stranded on North Point Reef near Middle Island in a northeast gale, salvagers worked frantically to recover her, but when winds shifted to southeast, lifesavers took off her crew and she broke apart, drifting off to deeper water. Lies in about 4.9 m; sank 1892.
