About this site
This shallow wreck dive in Lake Michigan features a well-preserved wooden barge resting on a sandy bottom. The structure attracts schools of perch and bass, with occasional pike sightings. Clear freshwater conditions offer good visibility, ideal for beginners. The intact hull and deck provide interesting swim-throughs. Depths stay under 30 feet, making it accessible for most divers. Nearby rock formations add to the underwater landscape. Cold water requires proper thermal protection.
