About this site
El Condesito lies off the coast of Tenerife in the Canary Islands, a volcanic island in the Atlantic off northwest Africa, within the stretch of coastline popular with dive operators along the island's southern and western shores. The site takes its name from a small wreck resting on a wreck bottom at a maximum depth of around 20 metres, rated a beginner dive. Barracuda, damselfish, and octopus are regularly seen around the wreck, and divers have also reported grouper here. Some divers have noted strong current at the site, so conditions are worth checking with a local operator before entry.
