El Fanadir South lies off Fanadir Head near Hurghada on Egypt's Red Sea coast, within the Red Sea Governorate, and is generally accessed by boat from the city's marinas. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 25 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported octopus among the reef life here.
