About this site
El Fanadir North lies off the Red Sea coast near Hurghada, in the Red Sea Governorate of Egypt, part of a run of reef sites along that stretch of shoreline. Boats out of Hurghada commonly work this area alongside other nearby reef points. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 22 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported frogfish, scorpionfish, and stonefish tucked among the reef here.
