About this site
Estelão lies along the coast of the Leiria district, on Portugal's Atlantic seaboard. This part of the central Portuguese coastline is exposed to open ocean swell, and dive sites here are typically reached by boat from small fishing harbours in the region. The reef reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive.
