About this site
Filfla is a small uninhabited islet off the southern coast of Malta, south of Żurrieb and the cliffs near Siġġiewi, and its surrounding waters form a marine protected area reached by boat rather than from shore. The reef here is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported cold water and strong currents around the islet, and a hammerhead shark has also been reported in these waters.
