About this site
Fungus Rock, known locally as Il-Ġebla tal-Ġeneral, is a small limestone islet at the entrance to Dwejra Bay on the west coast of Gozo, near San Lawrenz, Malta. The site sits close to the channel connecting the former Azure Window area with the open sea, in a part of Gozo well known for its dramatic karst coastline and inland sea formations. The wall here is rated a beginner dive, making it an accessible way to explore this stretch of the Dwejra coastline.
