About this site
Furusato (ふるさと) is a boat dive on Sakurajima in Kagoshima Prefecture, with a maximum depth of 30 m, for intermediate divers and above, with a slight current. It is a lava drop-off that falls away abruptly. Stingrays, amberjack, red-belted anthias, lionfish and scorpionfish are seen.
