About this site
Gamese (ガメ瀬) is a wreck dive by boat on the east side of Meshima in the Danjo Islands, dived from the Kamigoto area of the Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture, with a maximum depth of 30 m and an average around 20 m, for intermediate divers and above. There is almost no current, so the dive is relatively relaxed. A decayed ship lies at about 20 m with spiny lobster and soldierfish sheltering beneath it. The surrounding rugged rock carries overlapping table coral with anthias schooling around it in walls.
