About this site
Shimonoakase (下ノ赤瀬) is a boat dive on two adjacent pinnacles on the south side of Meshima in the Danjo Islands, dived from the Kamigoto area of the Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture, with a maximum depth of 35 m and an average around 20 m, for intermediate divers and above. The topography is interesting and both fish diversity and density are high. It is dived mainly as a drift, riding the current while taking in the terrain and fish life.
