Golden Blocks lies along the Gulf of Aqaba coastline near Dahab, in Egypt's Sinai region, an area known for its shore-accessible reef sites strung along the coast road north of town. Like most dive spots in this stretch of Dahab, it's reached directly from shore. Divers here have reported cauliflower coral and net fire coral along the reef structure, with fish life including dusky surgeonfish, exquisite butterflyfish, Indian lionfish, Klunzinger's wrasse, Red Sea bannerfish, Red Sea anemonefish, starry puffers, and sulfur damsels.
