About this site
Moray Garden lies along the Gulf of Aqaba coastline near Dahab, on the Sinai Peninsula of Egypt, over a reef bottom typically reached by a short walk or drive along the shore road from town. It reaches a maximum depth of around 50 metres and is rated a technical dive. Nudibranchs are a reliable find on the reef, and divers have also reported bannerfish, clownfish, cuttlefish, fusiliers, groupers, guitarfish, moray eels, pipefish, pufferfish, scorpionfish, seahorses, squid, and even whale sharks passing through. Divers have also noted a tendency to drift toward Golden Blocks or Three Pools along the site.
