Half Moon Caye Wall sits at the eastern edge of Lighthouse Reef Atoll, off Belize, near the natural monument of Half Moon Caye itself. The site is a classic Belizean wall dive, dropping from a shallow reef top into deep water, with the wall covered in sponges and gorgonians. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18.3 metres and is rated intermediate. Eagle rays and garden eels are a regular sight along the drop-off, and divers have also reported barracuda, manta rays, moray eels, nurse sharks, reef sharks, sea turtles, stingrays, and parrotfish here. Visibility in this offshore atoll setting is typically very good given the distance from the mainland, and the wall profile calls for divers comfortable managing depth and buoyancy along a vertical drop.
