Half Moon Caye Wall lies within the Half Moon Caye Natural Monument, on the eastern edge of Lighthouse Reef Atoll off the coast of Belize, not far from the Blue Hole. The protected area is managed for both its reef and its onshore seabird colony, and the site itself is a drop-off wall typical of the atoll's outer edge, where the reef gives way to open Caribbean water. Divers here have reported Atlantic blue tang, black triggerfish, French grunt, nurse sharks, and stoplight parrotfish along the wall, along with symmetrical brain coral formations, and Caribbean land hermit crabs have been noted around the caye itself.
