About this site
Tarpon Caye sits within the Lighthouse Reef atoll, an offshore reef system in the Belize District east of the mainland, in the Caribbean Sea. The atoll is best known for the Great Blue Hole and its surrounding reef and cayes, reached by boat from Belize City or nearby dive operations on Ambergris Caye and Caulker. Tarpon Caye itself is rated as a beginner dive, making it one of the more accessible reef sites within the atoll.
