This wreck lies off the Istrian peninsula in Croatia's northern Adriatic, an area with a number of wartime wrecks scattered along its rocky, reef-lined coast amid waters that once carried heavy shipping traffic. The site is rated an advanced dive. As with much of Istria's wreck diving, its location off the open sea lanes exposes it to conditions that call for solid experience before descending.
