About this site
Hatoma Higashi (ハトマ東) is a boat-dive coral reef off Hatoma in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 18 m and an average around 10 m. Many butterflyfish species live on the coral, and the shallows hold schools of around a hundred striped large-eye bream and a hundred sergeant majors. No current; from beginner/novice level.
