About this site
Tokakin Sone (トカキン曽根) is a boat-dive pinnacle off Iriomote Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 20 m and an average around 12 m. It is dived for large fish, usually as a drift, though when current is running the boat anchors first and the drift starts from there, so novices can join. Dogtooth tuna and barracuda are the targets, and bigeye trevally school at times. Current at times; from beginner/novice level.
