About this site

Hin Ngam Bay sits along the coastline of Koh Tao, an island in Surat Thani province off Thailand's southern gulf coast. The bay is one of several small coves ringing the island that are reached by longtail boat or dive boat from the main piers. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 28 metres and is rated as a beginner site. Divers have reported barracuda, batfish, clownfish, fusiliers, lionfish, nudibranchs, octopus, parrotfish, scorpionfish, snapper, wrasse, and even the occasional whale shark passing through.
