About this site

The MV Trident lies within the dive grounds off Koh Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand belonging to Surat Thani province, with boats reaching the site out of Mae Haad pier on the island's west coast. The wreck sits on a sand bottom at a maximum depth of around 35 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have reported barracuda, batfish, fusilier, grouper, nudibranch, nurse sharks, and pufferfish around the structure, though the interior brings entanglement concerns, limited spaces, limited visibility, and sharp edges that call for caution when moving through it.
