About this site
Hiogigai Atochi (ヒオウギガイ跡地), the site of a former scallop farm, is a dive site at Tatsukushi in Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture. Reef-building corals and soft coral grow densely here and shelter a large amount of life. Nudibranch diversity is high, and the site works for both macro and wide-angle photography, with snake eels, painted frogfish, warty frogfish and stingrays among the sightings.
