About this site
Bannoko No. 1 (バンノコNo.1) is a main mooring-buoy site at Tatsukushi in Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture, suitable from novice level, with the top of the reef at 7 m and a maximum depth of 10 m. It is the area's leading macro site and the only main site where gobies are found: shrimp gobies live with their partner shrimps in just 5 m of water. Flying gurnards, seamoths, frogfish, large seahorses, cardinalfish and a range of shrimps and crabs are seen in the shallows.
