About this site
HMS St. Lawrence was a first-rate Royal Navy warship built at Kingston in 1814 during the War of 1812, intended to command Lake Ontario. It never saw combat and was later laid up and partially broken, with remains resting near Kingston at the eastern end of Lake Ontario.
