Portsmouth Olympic Harbour offers calm, shallow dives perfect for beginners and training. The sheltered waters feature submerged structures, small wrecks, and abundant freshwater fish like bass and pike. Visibility varies but often reaches 10 meters. The flat, sandy bottom slopes gently, with occasional rock formations providing habitat for crayfish and mussels. Winter diving is possible with proper gear. Easy shore access makes it a convenient spot for quick dives. Water temperatures range from 4°C in winter to 22°C in summer. The harbor's protected location minimizes currents, creating ideal conditions for new divers.
