About this site
Carinthia rests off the coast of County Donegal, in the waters of the northwest Irish Atlantic approaches. This stretch of coastline has long been a graveyard for shipping moving in and out of the North Channel and the western approaches during both World Wars, and wrecks from that era are scattered along it.
