About this site
Hondoq Bay lies on the southeastern coast of Qala, on the island of Gozo in Malta, facing toward Comino and the Malta channel. Its sheltered shoreline is commonly used as an entry point for boat and shore dives in the area, over a reef bottom that reaches a maximum depth of around 11 metres, making it a beginner dive. Divers have reported damselfish, moray eels, octopus, and wrasse around the reef.
