About this site
Horse Shoe lies along the coast of Okinawa, part of the Ryukyu Islands in Kyushu, Japan, in waters known generally for coral formations and volcanic rock shoreline typical of the region. Dive operators based around the main island commonly run boat trips out to sites along this stretch of coast. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres, generally rated intermediate. Divers have also reported nudibranchs and octopus among the marine life here.
