About this site
Toilet Bowl sits along the coast of Okinawa in the Kyushu region of Japan, near the reef systems that fringe the island's shoreline, and is dived as a drift site. It reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported barracuda, nudibranchs, trevally, oceanic whitetip sharks and even whales passing through the area. Sites in this stretch of coast are typically accessed by boat or shore entry from nearby dive operators on Okinawa.
