Hulhumeedhoo is a settlement on Seenu Atoll (Addu Atoll), the southernmost atoll of the Maldives, and Ismehela Outside sits on the ocean-facing side of the atoll's reef system rather than inside the lagoon. Addu's outer reef edges here drop into open water of the Indian Ocean, and sites along this side of the atoll are typically reached by dhoni or dive boat from the local islands.
