About this site
Mudakan lies near Hithadhoo, on Seenu Atoll (Addu Atoll), at the southern end of the Maldives archipelago. This is the country's southernmost atoll, separated from the rest of the chain and known locally for its distinct channels and reef formations along the atoll rim. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported finger coral and pentagonal honeycomb coral formations here, adding to the reef structure along this stretch.
