Jerry's Sponges

Jerry's Sponges is a shore dive site along the leeward coast of Bonaire, part of the island's protected marine park where sites are marked by yellow-painted rocks along the road. As the name suggests, the reef here features notable sponge growth along a gently sloping terrace typical of Bonaire's fringing reef structure. Entry is a simple shore dive over a shallow reef flat before it slopes toward sandier depths, with the site topping out at a maximum depth of around 12 metres, making it a shallow dive well suited to a relaxed pace and extended bottom time.
