About this site
Kalanggaman Island lies in the Camotes Sea off the coast of Leyte in the Philippines, roughly midway between Palompon on Leyte and the island of Malapascua off Cebu's northern tip. It is a small, low sandbar island known for the long sand spits extending from either end, reachable by boat from Palompon or from Malapascua and other northern Cebu departure points. The drift dive here reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres along the drop-off surrounding the island and is rated an intermediate dive.
