About this site
Kihaadhoo Thila is a coral pinnacle site in Baa Atoll, one of the atolls in the northern Maldives designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Thilas in this region typically rise from the atoll floor to within several metres of the surface, drawing currents that attract reef fish and pelagics along their walls and overhangs. The site is reached by boat from the islands and resorts of Baa Atoll.
