About this site
Kikafini Reef lies off Kenya's coast in the Indian Ocean, offering vibrant coral gardens teeming with marine life. Expect encounters with reef sharks, turtles, and schools of tropical fish. The site features dramatic drop-offs and swim-throughs, with visibility often exceeding 20 meters. Currents can be strong, making it ideal for drift diving. Soft and hard corals create a colorful backdrop, while occasional manta ray sightings add excitement. Best dived between October and March when conditions are calm and water temperatures hover around 28°C. Suitable for intermediate to advanced divers due to variable conditions.
